One of the most popular instant messaging platform WhatsApp shows how keen they are in offering absolute privacy to their users. Its updated features now show the users whether their chat messages are encrypted. This new feature is available only for Android v2.12.500 version which anyone can download from APKMirror website.

Apart from this, WhatsApp has also availed a number of other new features which include collapsing of long messages. The popular instant messenger was seen testing an option in January. The new feature is available to download from the company's site and the Google Play beta testing programme. The users are shown the message - "messages you send to this chat are now end-to-end encrypted."

Apart from this feature, the users are shown a similar kind of message when they send text messages to groups. The feature is reported to be effective only if the recipient also has the latest version of it. WhatsApp has not rolled out this feature for its iOS clients.

Collapsing longer messages is another new feature. This feature seems really helpful for the users as they can go to one from the other without scrolling a lot, even if they have longer messages.

Facebook -owned instant messaging platform seems working hard on bringing a better experience to the users. This include the option of ‘Starred messages’, a feature that lets you select important messages and scroll through the messages in one place.
