Vivo Xplay5 Elite Launched with a Massive 6GB RAM

RAM definitely has an impact on the sale of any smartphone for sure. That is the reason why handset manufacturers build smartphones with maximum RAM as possible. Here Vivo has launched its new smartphone Xplay5 Elite with a massive 6GB of RAM, probably the first smartphone to offer such a huge RAM.

The smartphone’s 5.43inch touchscreen display has a high resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels. Its 2.15GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM is expected to offer superior and faster performance.

The Xplay5 Elite has a larger internal storage of 128GB but lacks a Micro SD slot for storage expansion. As far as photography is concerned, the smartphone has a 16 MP primary camera at the rear and an 8MP selfie shooter at front.

The smartphone runs on Android 6.0. Vivo Xplay5 Elite is powered by a decently big 3600mAh battery which is non removable. The handset measuring 153.50 x 76.20 x 7.59 (height x width x thickness) weighs 167.80 grams.

The dual SIM smartphone accepts two Regular SIMs (GSM and GSM). Major connectivity features include Wi-Fi, GPS, FM, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G LTE among others. The smartphone is loaded with sensors such as Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyroscope and Accelerometer.
