New Delhi: Climate Change has always been one of the major threats the world is facing right now. Every nation is anxious how severe it is going to be and this anxiety brought together the world leaders to Paris where they discussed what each nation can do in handling this menace.
New research reports claim that climate change would be severe than one has ever expected it to be. According to these reports nearly five lakh people will lose life by the year 2050 and 1.9 million in future.

The Paris Environment summit proposed and urged every nation cut down its carbon contribution in the air.

New reports say that the effects of climate change will, by no means, not be limited to the melting of glaciers alone but will have deep impact on food production. The impact on food production is expected to be so severe that around 5 lakh people across the globe may lose life by the year 2050.

The research report also say that this would be mostly affecting India and China. The impact will be visible in over 155 countries  but these largely populated countries will suffer more deaths, adds the report. With over 2.4 lakh deaths, China will suffer the most. India will stand second in the table with over 1.36 lakh deaths.

By 2050, the lower consumption levels of fruits and vegetables would directly lead to poor nutrition and ill-health. This will cause various diseases which finally lead to death, states the report. Expected diseases include heart disease, stroke and cancer. If the condition persists, it will lead to 1.9 million deaths in future, the researchers warn.
