Apple launched iPhone SE at a special event held at Cupertino Campus. The model with a small screen size of four-inch, seeks out those tired of big screens. The new iPhone model was launched by Apple's Greg Joswiak.

The model resembles iPhone 5s in size but its features are more or less equal to that of 6s. In short, the users will have a smaller sized iPhone capable of delivering more powerful performance. The iPhone SE comes with a 64-bit A9 processor, the same found in 6s.

It features a 12 MP camera at the rear. The camera is loaded with a number of additional features like Focus Pixels, True Tone Flash, new image signal processor, and others. Using the camera, one can capture 4K videos and Panorama videos up to 63 MP.

Looking at the connectivity side, the iPhone SE is all powerful. It supports LTE upto 150 Mbps. However there is no confirmation on whether it would support LTE badns of India. The model will be available in two variants - 16 GB and 64 GB. 16 GB variant is priced 399 US Dollars in America while the other variant is priced 499 US Dollars. The model will be available in over 100 countries by May.

iPhone SE runs on iOS 9.3, the latest of iOS versions which was also launched today. Night Shift is another interesting feature spotted at this new iPhone model. This feature lets the user remove blue light at night. Password protection for Notes app, Touch ID, bettered Apple Maps and Music apps in CarPlay app, etc. also make iPhone SE a more attractive one.
